Left of Center was launched in early 2015 as a creative outlet for its founder, Mark Majors. Mark, born and raised in the American South, has a wide assortment of interests ranging from his self-proclaimed status as a sweet tea aficionado to his undying loyalty of everything from sports to politics. His formal education started at Mulberry Street Elementary School where he was elected class president of his first-grade class. Believing at the early age of six that there was more to learn, he continued his studies and earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Business, with a focus on Information Systems and Economics, deciding to put a cherry on top with a Master’s Degree in Strategic Leadership. Interestingly, Mark is not a fan of whipped cream with cherries on top, and the above example is the only known existence of his enjoyment in this very common delicacy.

Another of Mark’s obsessions is the bulleted list, which will now be used to relay some of his other interests:

  • Sports Teams:
    • Charlotte 49ers, N.C. State Wolfpack
    • Charlotte Hornets, Carolina Panthers, Atlanta Braves
    • Liverpool FC
